Happy June

June. I am so happy to greet you once again.
Something about June makes me think of love. The weather is often at the most perfect temperature for casual bike rides and picnics. To celebrate June, i am listening to a great love song written by the pop geniuses that are the brothers Gibb.
I was recently delighted by the fact that the Sex and The City movie featured The Bird and The Bee's cover of 'How Deep Is Your Love'. The Bird and The Bee's version of 'How Deep Is Your Love' is perfect for siting in a comfy chair while the sun brightens your face and a cool breeze sweeps your hair. Just listen................ Soothing isn't it?! Well, the first time i heard it I could not help but think of Take That's cover of the same song. Not that they sound alike, i just can't help but think of Take That when i think of bee gee's covers. I have always liked the video to Take That's 'How Deep Is Your Love'.

nothing beats the original.

How Deep Is Your Love

I know your eyes in the morning sun
I feel you touch me in the pouring rain
And the moment that you wander far from me
I wanna feel you in my arms again

And you come to me on a summer breeze
Keep me warm in your love
Then you softly leave
And it's me you need to show
How deep is your love?

How deep is your love
How deep is your love
I really need to learn
'Cause we're living in a world of fools
Breakin’ us down
When they all should let us be
We belong to you and me

I believe in you
You know the door to my very soul
You're the light in my deepest, darkest hour
You're my saviour when I fall
And you may not think I care for you
When you know down inside
That I really do

And it's me you need to show
How deep is your love?
How deep is your love
How deep is your love
I really need to learn
'Cause we're living in a world of fools
Breakin’ us down
When they all should let us be
We belong to you and me

And you come to me on a summer breeze,
Keep me warm in your love
Then you softly leave
And it's me you need to show
How deep is your love?

How deep is your love
How deep is your love
I really need to learn
'Cause we're living in a world of fools
Breakin’ us down
When they all should let us be
We belong to you and me
