One of the early stars of the girl group sound of the 1960's, The Shirelles are pure pop perfection. Who doesn't love to sing along with 'Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow' or 'Soldier Boy'? While there were girl groups that preceded them (The Chantels), The Shirelles were one of the first girl groups to reach huge international stardom.You gotta love the tenderness of their vocal harmonies in the song 'I didn't mean to hurt you'.
